Hello and welcome to immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence staining.
We routinely work with Human, Mouse and Rat tissues but also have experience with canine, feline, horse, porcine and toad species for IHC staining.
Most of our antibody stains are initially done by hand but then, if enough there is volume and repeat slides, we convert the procedure onto our Dako automated system. This decreases turnaround times and staining variability between slides.
Let us help your research fulfill its greatest potential with antibody markers of your choice.
In our experience, antibodies are a valuable tool that can make or break your research. They can be finicky, and stubborn, sometimes the procedures go on for more than 10 hours but in the end most (99%) of them work and tell a story about your tissues. That’s why we’re here, to do the difficult jobs nobody wants to do.
New antibodies are being tested for both customers (their targets) and ourselves. If you do not see a desired target, please inquire. One positive and one negative control is used for each client project and sent back with the slides. Isotype controls can be also done if desired and supplied by you.
IHC & IF performed by us is usually done by the customer buying the antibody and send it to us. We provide secondary antibodies and all other necessary reagents, control slides (if available). We know the primary antibody usually cost the most but the secondary antibodies we purchase, from Vector Labs, costs almost as much. Providing all the other reagents is also our part. We know which chemicals work best with respective antibodies.
There are 49 plus antibodies that we have worked up and now have consistent protocols for. Most are antibodies monoclonals, we prefer to work with them but some are polyclonals.
Our in house antibodies listed in the pricing pdf (p18). https://histologistics.com/histology-service/services/pricing-list/. We have numerous pictures, some posted here, on various tissue types. All antibodies have data sheets from their respective manufacturers, contact us if desired.
Take a look at our microscopic pictures, these are all antibodies stained by us. Tissues are positive controls and photographed in our lab.https://histologistics.com/histology/histology-microscopic-pictures/
